I’m in the office just now and a couple of the guys are just back from the baker’s. The smell of their food is reminding me so much of Aulds’ pies back home and I’m smiling to myself at the thought that I’ll be enjoying them again in a few weeks. I haven’t quit yet, but I know I need to soon. I’m worried about getting a van and driving it to Scotland. It’s so far, and I’m not the most confident driver.
The smell still lingers, taking me back to the cafes we went to in France in February. The travel bug is biting me hard!
Hmmm pies is goood.
There must be an alternative to you becoming a trucker to get your stuff up to Scotland, that sunburnt right arm is never a good look :D Of course, i can't really think of any useful suggestions right now. balls.

oh thanks... great help!
i might just have a flat clearance so that i only need to take my beloved books and dvds. i'm sure someone at work would want a cheap telly.

Hire a man with a van, tell him to drive your stuff to where you want it to be, and then get the train. The only downside is that it may cost quite a bit. Plus you need to check the man's references, otherwise he may steal all your worldly possessions. In retrospect, this is probably a crap suggestion, for which I apologise.
